₹2,100
The Salinity Refractometer helps measure the concentration of dissolved salt in aquarium water. It uses a small sample—just 2–3 drops—and has an easy-to-read scale with automatic temperature compensation (ATC) for repeatable readings. Use it to check salinity in marine and reef aquariums as part of your regular water testing routine.
To take a reading, place the sample on the prism, close the daylight plate and allow about 30 seconds for the sample to adjust to the refractometer’s ambient temperature. Look through the eyepiece toward a natural light source and adjust the focus until the scale is clear. A carrying case and calibration screwdriver are included for storage and calibration.
