How to Use

1. Fill test tube with 5 mL of aquarium water.
2. Add 10 drops from **Solution #1**, holding dropper upside-down.
3. Cap, shake gently to mix.
4. Shake **Solution #2** vigorously for 10 seconds.
5. Add drops from **Solution #2** one at a time, swirling gently, until color turns blue (pink → purple → blue).
6. Count drops; calcium concentration = drops × 20 ppm.

Standard Calcium Ranges

• Freshwater community fish: ≥ 75 ppm
• African cichlids: ≥ 120 ppm
• Marine aquariums: 300–400 ppm
• Reef aquariums: 400–450 ppm

Recommended Actions

• Low Ca: perform water changes or dose with **Fritz RPM Calcium Buffer Part 2** or **Rift Lake Cichlid Salt** to raise levels.
• Always balance alkalinity and magnesium when adjusting calcium.
