Plant Specifications

Care & Aquascaping Tips

• Thrives under medium to strong lighting and nutrient-rich water; floating mats form rapidly.
• No CO₂ required; absorbs nutrients directly, making it easy to care for.
• Temperature range ideal is 22–28 °C; pH 6.0–7.5; while tolerant of water hardness.
• Prune runners and plantlets regularly to control growth and prevent excessive surface shading.
• Floating roots offer habitat and filtration; ideal for fry, shrimp, and as spawning mops.

Planting & Propagation Recommendations

• Simply place on the water surface—no substrate required; nutrient uptake occurs through leaves and roots.
• Propagates naturally by runner segments; trim and relocate plantlets to manage coverage.
• Use in groups to create shaded zones and texture; ideal for community tanks and biotope setups.
