Care & Aquascaping Tips

• Prefers low to medium, diffused lighting to maintain its rich brown hues and compact form.
• CO₂ supplementation is not required; grows well in low-tech aquariums.
• Use nutrient-rich substrate or root tabs to support healthy root development.
• Maintain stable conditions: 22–28 °C, pH 6.0–7.5; avoid disturbing the plant after planting to prevent melting.
• Trim wilted or damaged leaves from the base to encourage new leaf growth.

Planting & Propagation Recommendations

• Plant the rhizome just above the substrate surface to prevent rot.
• Space plants 4–6 cm apart to allow for rosette expansion.
• Divide mature plants by separating rhizome sections when repotting.
• Pair with green-leaf carpet plants or taller stem backgrounds for contrast and depth.
