Plant Specifications

Care & Aquascaping Tips

• Brings out the brightest violet-purple hues under medium to high lighting (≥100 µmol PAR) and CO₂ supplementation.
• Prefers nutrient-rich substrate and consistent fertilisation to support steady growth and rich pigmentation.
• Loves soft to moderately hard water (pH 6.5–7.5, 22–28 °C); stable conditions prevent melt and promote healthy development.
• Regular trimming promotes side branching and prevents lower stem thinning, keeping plant lush and dense.

Planting & Propagation Recommendations

• Plant in clusters of 4–6 stems, spaced 3–4 cm apart for balance and coverage.
• Anchor firmly in substrate to support healthy root systems and vertical growth.
• Trim and replant tops to propagate and maintain density.
• Pairs beautifully with green foreground carpets and complementary stem plants for layered depth.
