Plant Specifications

Care & Aquascaping Tips

• Performs well in medium to high light; foliage may slowly shift toward pink under stronger lighting conditions.
• Thrives with stable CO₂ dosing and nutrient supplementation, but remains resilient even in simpler setups.
• Plant directly into substrate once roots develop; trimming is optional—it recovers quickly.
• Water parameters: 20–28 °C, pH 6–7.5. Soft to moderately hard water is ideal.
• Resilient to trimming—will regenerate full after each cut, making it ideal for long-term aquascapes.

Planting & Propagation Recommendations

• Plant in clusters of 4–6 stems, spaced ~3–4 cm apart for a full backdrop.
• Use tweezers to anchor stems firmly beneath the substrate to support initial root growth.
• After reaching desired height, trim and replant top cuttings to thicken coverage and encourage bushiness.
• Pairs well with red or contrasting midground plants to create depth and color variation.
