Care & Aquascaping Tips

• Requires strong lighting and consistent CO₂ to develop deep red or violet leaf coloration.
• Thrives in nutrient-rich substrate with regular dosing of iron-rich fertilizers.
• Maintain stable conditions—22–28 °C, pH 6.0–7.5, gentle filtration—to prevent melt.
• Frequent trimming (after 4–6 nodes) encourages bushy growth and vibrant color expression.
• Use as a striking midground or background highlight—clusters of 5–7 stems offer maximum visual impact.

Planting & Propagation Recommendations

• Plant stems in groups of 4–6, spaced 3–4 cm apart using tweezers.
• Anchor stems securely in a nutrient substrate to support upright growth.
• Replant top cuttings to thicken stands and maintain red hues.
• Compliments green carpets or stems for layered contrast.
