Plant Specifications

Care & Aquascaping Tips

• Performs well in low to medium diffuse lighting—maintains compact rosettes.
• CO₂ is optional but supports healthier, more vigorous growth.
• Thrives in nutrient-dense substrate; root tabs or substrate fertilisers are beneficial.
• Keep water stable: 22–28 °C, pH 6.0–7.5; avoid excessive disturbance or substrate movement.
• Remove any older or dying leaves at the rhizome base to stimulate fresh growth.

Planting & Propagation Recommendations

• Plant the rhizome at the substrate surface—do not bury it to prevent rot.
• Space individuals 4–6 cm apart to allow for optimal rosette expansion.
• Propagate naturally by separating the rhizome during maintenance or when growth offsets form.
• Mix with other Cryptocoryne species or foreground carpets for visual contrast and depth layering.
