Care & Aquascaping Tips

• Thrives in low to medium light; bright light may promote algae on its leaves.
• CO₂ is not required; it grows reliably in low-tech tanks.
• Needs nutrient exposure—liquid fertilisers or root tabs help prevent deficiency.
• Temperature: 20–28 °C, pH 6.0–7.5, stable conditions promote health.
• Remove older leaves to prevent decay; new leaves emerge steadily.

Planting & Propagation Recommendations

• Attach rhizome to wood or rock using thread, glue gel, or fine mesh; avoid burying to prevent rot.
• Propagate easily by cutting sections of rhizome with attached leaves.
• Place in shaded areas to protect from excessive light and algae growth.
• Will flower occasionally underwater, adding visual interest.
