Plant Specifications

Care & Aquascaping Tips

• Provide high light (≥100 µmol PAR) and stable CO₂ to promote bushy growth and red coloration.
• Thrives in nutrient-rich substrate and regular fertilization.
• Prefers slightly acidic-neutral water (pH 6.0–7.5), 22–28 °C temperature, and good water flow.
• Susceptible to algae on older leaves; maintain cleanliness and avoid crowding.
• Trim and remove older leaves to encourage new growth.

Planting & Propagation Recommendations

• Divide tissue-culture clusters into 3–5-stem groups for planting, spacing them 2–3 cm apart.
• Plant stems deeply (2–3 cm) using tweezers to anchor securely.
• Pinch or trim stem tips regularly to maintain bushiness and prevent legginess.
• Replant trimmed shoots to extend coverage; tie in foreground for accent effects.
