Plant Specifications

Care & Aquascaping Tips

• Plant in groups of 3–5 stems, spaced about 2–3 cm apart for a natural, bushy appearance.
• Thrives under medium to high lighting; stronger light brings out pinkish new growth.
• CO₂ supplementation enhances growth rate and leaf coloration, but moderate growth is possible without it.
• Maintain stable water parameters: temperature 22–28 °C, pH 6–7.5.
• Trim regularly to encourage side-branches and fuller stems.
• Perfect choice for natural-style, Iwagumi, or lush stem backgrounds.

Planting & Propagation Recommendations

• Use tweezers to plant stems 2–3 cm deep into nutrient-rich substrate.
• Trim tops when stems reach the desired height; replant trimmings to create dense clusters.
• For color variation, alternate light conditions between plant zones.
• Pair with shorter foreground carpets to create layered depth.
