Care & Maintenance Tips
- Maintain Water Quality: Regularly test water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH) and perform routine water changes to keep the aquarium environment pristine and reduce fish stress, which can trigger disease.
- Quarantine New Fish: Always quarantine new fish for several weeks before introducing them to your main tank to prevent the spread of diseases, including white spot.
- Avoid Overfeeding: Overfeeding can lead to poor water quality, which stresses fish and makes them more susceptible to illness.
- Monitor Fish Health: Daily observation of your fish for any unusual behavior, changes in appearance, or appetite can help detect diseases early, allowing for quicker treatment.
- Maintain Stable Temperatures: Sudden fluctuations in water temperature can stress fish, weakening their immune system. Use a reliable heater to maintain a consistent temperature.
