How to Use This Aquarium Heater

1. Choose a heater location with good water movement, such as near the filter outlet or in a sump’s water-pump chamber.

2. Secure the heater to the glass with the suction cups. Keep the controller outside the water; it is not waterproof.

3. Set the target temperature using the controller. The product page states that a short press increases the setting by one degree and holding the button for five seconds switches between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

4. Allow the aquarium water to circulate and monitor the displayed temperature. Use a separate aquarium thermometer to verify conditions.

5. Before removing the heater, switch it off and wait at least five minutes for it to cool.
