FritzPro Aquatics Sodium Bicarbonate - 567g

FritzPro Sodium Bicarbonate – Reef Alkalinity Booster (567 g)

FritzPro Sodium Bicarbonate is a bulk-format, high-purity buffer designed to increase alkalinity (dKH) in enclosed reef systems. Use it independently or as part of a two-part calcium/alkalinity program to achieve stable water chemistry essential for coral and invertebrate health.

Why It Matters

• Raises alkalinity quickly and safely when used properly
• No added phosphates, metals, or unnecessary trace elements
• Helps maintain stable pH and carbonate buffering in reef tanks
• Cost-effective bulk solution for large or multiple systems

Usage & Dosage

• Each 5 g (≈1 tsp) per 45 US gal raises alkalinity by ~1 dKH
• Limit increases to ≤1 dKH per 24 hours; avoid pH swings >0.2
• Dissolve in RO/DI or distilled water before dosing into sump/high-flow area
• Split large adjustments into partial doses; re-test before adding more
• May generate heat during mixing—wear gloves and avoid contact
• Store dry, capped tightly away from moisture
