DET Pro Brush

DET PRO-BRUSH – Professional Abrasive Algae Cleaning Brush for Aquarium Stones and Aquascaping Hardscape

The DET PRO-BRUSH is a professional aquarium maintenance tool specifically designed for removing algae from stones and other suitable aquascaping layout materials. Its abrasive brush structure helps scrape away unwanted algae efficiently while requiring relatively little physical force, making it a valuable accessory for maintaining clean and attractive aquarium hardscape.

In planted aquariums and Nature Aquarium layouts, algae can gradually accumulate on decorative stones, textured rocks, and hardscape surfaces. These deposits can affect the natural appearance of an aquascape and may be difficult to remove using ordinary soft cleaning brushes. DET PRO-BRUSH addresses this challenge with an abrasive cleaning surface designed to loosen algae from suitable hardscape materials.

The brush is particularly useful for aquascapers who want to maintain the original appearance of their stone arrangements without unnecessarily dismantling the layout. By targeting algae directly on accessible rock surfaces, routine cleaning can be carried out more efficiently while helping preserve the visual balance of the aquarium.

Suitable for regular hardscape maintenance in freshwater planted tanks, aquascapes, and decorative aquarium layouts, DET PRO-BRUSH is a practical addition to an aquascaping maintenance toolkit. Its specialised abrasive action makes it particularly useful for cleaning textured stone surfaces where algae can collect in small grooves and irregular areas.

Key Features and Benefits

Efficient Algae Removal

• Test on a small, inconspicuous area before cleaning softer or unfamiliar stones.
• Keep the brush away from delicate aquatic plant leaves and fragile decorations during cleaning.
• Remove loosened algae from the aquarium to prevent debris from settling elsewhere.
• Allow the brush to dry after cleaning and store it in a clean, dry location.
