2Hr Aquarist APT Balance

2Hr Aquarist APT Balance – Microbial Booster for Aquasoil Aquariums

2Hr Aquarist APT Balance is a premium microbial supplement formulated to support rapid and reliable cycling of aquasoil aquariums. Packed with beneficial bacterial cultures in a stable dry powder form, it accelerates key biological processes like nitrification and organic waste decomposition. Unlike traditional liquid bacterial products that perform only under narrow conditions and often need refrigeration, APT Balance thrives in the acidic environments created by modern aquasoils and can be stored at room temperature.

When establishing a new aquarium or stabilising an existing one, maintaining a strong and balanced microbial community is crucial. APT Balance delivers resilient strains of nitrifying and waste‑digesting bacteria designed to break down ammonia through nitrites to nitrates, helping to reduce toxic spikes and improve overall water quality.

How to Use 2Hr Aquarist APT Balance

2. If your aquarium is smaller (e.g., ~50 L), adjust proportionally.
3. During startup, perform a 2‑week “Dark Start” or plant immediately and do large (~90%) water changes every 2–3 days while dosing weekly.
4. For maintenance, add APT Balance monthly or after major interventions like filter cleaning or adding new livestock.
5. Turn off any UV steriliser for 24 hours after dosing to allow the bacteria to establish.

Care & Maintenance Tips

• Store sachets in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Monitor water parameters regularly during initial cycle and after dosing.
• Excess dosing is safe but may lead to temporary surface slime or cloudy water.
• Avoid using UV sterilisation immediately after dosing to protect beneficial microbes.
• Use in conjunction with good filtration and regular maintenance for best results.
